Getting started

1. Install TetherKids on each iPhone. On first launch choose Parent's iPhone or Child's iPhone.
2. On a parent's iPhone open Family > Invite family member and send the link to your child's iPhone (and any other parent). Tap the link on that iPhone.
3. On the child's iPhone, turn on location sharing and set Location to Always.

Common questions

The invite link doesn't work. Both iPhones must be signed in to iCloud and run the same type of build (App Store or TestFlight). Choose "Can make changes" when sending the invite.

A device shows twice. On a parent's iPhone go to Family, swipe the old entry left and tap Delete.

My child changed a setting. Changes on a child's iPhone need the parent's passcode or approval from a parent's iPhone. If someone turns the DNS filter off, parents get an alert.

How do I delete everything? Family > Leave the family (or Delete the family for everyone), then delete the app. You can also use Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > TetherKids > Delete Data.
